What is Dining for a Difference?

• A month-long promotion in February, 2010, which gives consumers an incentive to “Dine for a Difference” at participating restaurants in the NYC area.
• A way to try new restaurants or go back to a restaurant you haven't visited in a while, all while giving back to your community!
• A way to save money on your dinner throughout the month of February.

How Do I Dine for a Difference?
Simply purchase a card for only $40 and throughout the month of February, 2010, you'll receive $20 off your total dinner bill at over 50 restaurants throughout the New York City Area. Just use it twice and the card pays for itself!

Who Benefits from Dining for a Difference?
Dining for a Difference was created to build awareness and raise funds for Project Renewal, a hard-working nonprofit in New York that provides everything homeless New Yorkers need to move from the streets to independent living in the community—all under one organizational roof. 

And at Project Renewal, we don’t just provide food and shelter. Treatment programs, employment services, transitional and permanent housing services ensure clients can find a way to leave the streets for good.

What does the Dining for a Difference Card cost?
$40. The potential cost savings can be as great as $500 during the month of February, 2010.

Are there any restrictions?

• Valid with a minimum food purchase of $35 per party of 2 or more (alcohol is excluded).
• Valid for dinner only.
• Gratuity added to the pre-discounted check total.
• Limit one discount per table.
• Diner cannot combine this discount with other discounts.
• Limit one visit per cardholder to any participating restaurant during promotion.
• Dining Card is not transferrable.
• This offer is not valid on February14, 2010.

If I am a restaurant representative, will my restaurant be making a donation to Project Renewal?
No. Your donation is the discount you offer to Dining for a Difference cardholders.

May the cardholder use the discount multiple times at my restaurant?
No. Each card will be printed with a different customer ID number.
If you wish, you may track and keep a record of used Customer ID Numbers.
All cardholders will be informed that they may use the card only once in each of the participating restaurants.
