Information Collected
You can have access to our site without providing any personally identifying information. Project Renewal only collects personally identifying information when you voluntarily submit it, such as when you e-mail comments to the Site, sign up for email updates or make an online donation.
Our registration forms require users to give us contact information that includes name, email address, format preference (HTML or text), address, and similar information. We do not request or store sensitive information from our visitors such as credit card or social security numbers.
Donations
When you make a gift to Project Renewal, we will retain any information that you share with us, including your name, address, and/or email address. We will use this information to send you a written acknowledgement of your gift and to keep you informed about our progress, events, and fundraising efforts.
Project Renewal respects the wishes of our donors regarding confidentiality. From time to time, we share your name and mailing address with other charities whose mission is similar to ours. If you do not wish your name to be shared, please let us know, and we will not share your name or other pertinent information.
The names of individuals, foundations and businesses may be listed in our Annual Report section of Who We Are with their consent.
E-mail Subscriptions
We will never share your name and e-mail address with other organizations.
Tell-a-Friend
If you use our referral service for informing a friend about our Site, we ask you for the friend's name and email address. Project Renewal will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the Site. Project Renewal stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email.
Security
All information provided to Project Renewal online is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us. We also protect account information by placing it on a secure portion of our Site that is only accessible by certain employees of Project Renewal. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of such information.

Project Renewal is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any sites to which it provides links.
Changes to Privacy Policy
Project Renewal reserves the right to modify our policy as needed. A revised policy will apply only to information collected after the date that the new policy is posted.
