Conrad Pinnock, MPA

Chief People Officer
"I was inspired to work in Human Resources once I saw how much it helps individuals and nonprofit organizations fulfill their commitments to social change."

Conrad Pinnock joined Project Renewal in 2021 as the Chief People Officer. Conrad works to expand the scope of our Human Resources Department, focusing on staff retention strategies, talent management, training and professional development, and succession planning.

Throughout his career, Conrad has worked with nonprofit organizations dedicated to social change, racial justice, and the elimination of poverty. Most recently, he served as the Consulting National Director of People, Culture, and Capability at Amnesty International, where he worked to advise management on human resources activities with the goal of improving employee effectiveness and morale. He has also worked in senior roles at Harlem Children’s Zone—where he designed and directed the organization’s Human Resources Department and led the Quality Improvement and Planning team—and Millennium Promise Alliance.

Conrad holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Economics from The King’s College, and an M.P.A. in Public and Nonprofit Management from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.
