Title:                           Maintenance Assistant

Qualifications:           Related experience

Duties:                       

  • Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting all common areas including lounges, recreation areas, and the dining room

  • Light plumbing (pressure tank replacement, sink installation, faucet replacement, bathtub sprouts)

  • Unit renovation (spackle, painting, leak repair) 

  • Scheduling and monitoring vendorswhich and include but are not limited to: (ordering supplies (Royal Supply) , alarm system (IRL), fire-extinguisher comp (ACTIVE), exterminator (PEST ARREST) elevator service (Slade), plumbing (Popular Plumbing), Cable Company (Cable Vision)

  • Responsible for emptying trash, vacuuming and light dusting of office areas 

  • Responsible for resident unit repairs, work orders, maintenance and turnovers. Units should consistently be monitored and brought to standard on a monthly basis 

  • Snow Removal and safety preparation

  • Prepares refuse / recycling for pick-up

  • Keeps entranceways and sidewalks clear and free of hazards.
