Ben Chong is a senior nonprofit finance leader with nearly two decades of experience supporting healthcare, housing, and human services organizations. He has served as Controller at Project Renewal since 2008, where he oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, internal controls, and audit coordination.

Ben brings strong expertise in nonprofit accounting, grants management, and real estate and development finance. He partners closely with organizational leadership and boards to promote financial sustainability, accountability, and mission‑driven growth.

Prior to joining Project Renewal, Ben served as Controller at Covenant House and the Coalition for the Homeless. He holds a BA in Accounting from Baruch College and a certificate for Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP).
