In 2026, Nathalia Berger joined Project Renewal as Chief Human Resources Officer, bringing over 20 years of HR leadership experience across nonprofit, academic, and human services sectors. She has extensive experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance, and serves as a trusted advisor to executives on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.
Prior to Project Renewal, Nathalia served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Birch Family Services, a state-funded nonprofit supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout New York City. She has held senior HR leadership roles at New York City School Support Services, Everyone NY, and the Fiji Mission to the United Nations. And as an Adjunct Professor at LIU Brooklyn, Nathalia designed and taught Human Resource Management courses.
Nathalia holds a MS in Human Resource Management from Long Island University and a BA in Human Services Administration from Empire State College.
