Sabina Saleh assumed the role of Vice President of Behavioral Health at Project Renewal in 2024. In this capacity, Sabina leads the agency’s efforts in clinical training and development and oversees various programs that deliver integrated mental health and substance use treatment to individuals facing complex challenges.
Holding a license in Clinical Social Work, Sabina brings more than 12 years of post-master’s clinical, supervisory, and workforce development experience to her role. Specializing in trauma-informed services and systems, she has previously led the implementation of trauma-responsive practices at Good Shepherd Services and other community-based organizations. At the city’s health department, she worked to expand access to integrated mental health and substance use treatment for marginalized New Yorkers. Additionally, she developed and launched an innovative therapeutic program for youth affected by the juvenile justice and child welfare systems at Sheltering Arms Children and Family Services.
Sabina also maintains a private practice where she specializes in serving BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Social Work, further enhancing her expertise in the field.
