Congratulations to Robin Kahan-Berman, Project Renewal’s Vice President of Occupational Therapy, for being named a 2024 Anthem Whole Health Hero!
The annual Anthem Whole Health Heroes Awards, for the fifth year in a row, is recognizing 25 professionals who are working to bring better health to New Yorkers. Through the awards, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is reaffirming its emphasis on holistic and preventative health. The program recognizes professionals who are addressing the physical, behavioral and social aspects of health. Much of people’s health is affected by social determinants, such as economic stability, access to education and quality healthcare, residence in a neighborhood that promotes health and safety and access to social and community support, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
