Opened in 2025, Bedford Green House II is the second phase of Project Renewal’s Bedford Green House Complex, expanding access to supportive and affordable housing alongside community-centered services. The building includes 116 affordable apartments for individuals and families impacted by homelessness, mental illness, and/or substance use disorder, as well as older adults and community members with low income.
Bedford Green House II offers expanded on-site amenities and services, including a dedicated occupational therapy space, a landscaped rear yard, an eleventh-floor terrace, and The Molly B. Kronick Library and Learning Center.
The building also features a street-facing, 2,300-square-foot community medical clinic, set to open in 2026, which will offer primary care, pediatrics, psychiatry, and other health services to residents and members of the broader community.

About the Bedford Green House Complex
The Bedford Green House Complex is a two-building, LEED-certified supportive housing community providing more than 230 affordable homes alongside wraparound, on-site services and amenities. These include a rooftop greenhouse and aquaponics system, an occupational therapy suite, the Molly B. Kronick Library and Learning Center, and a community medical clinic.
One of the first of its kind, the complex reflects a holistic approach to housing that supports health, stability, and connection for residents and the surrounding neighborhood.
