Mariya Masyukova, MD, MS, has served as Project Renewal’s Medical Director of Addiction Medicine and Drug User Health since 2023. In her role, she oversees an interdisciplinary team dedicated to caring for people who use drugs. She also provides direct patient care across the organization, including in our Federally Qualified Health Centers and Residential Treatment program.

Dr. Mariya is board-certified in family medicine and addiction medicine. She received her degrees from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed Family and Social Medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.  Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of primary care and drug user health and is passionate about compassionate, evidence-based, and equitable care.
