Cathy de Silva has led Project Renewal’s fundraising efforts since 2019. Cathy fully restructured PRI’s development department  by establishing Corporations & Foundations, Individual & Major Donors, Special Events, Volunteerism, Donor Communications, Advocacy and Board Development. These structural changes have resulted in creating an at-large culture of fundraising at PRI, resulting in a diversified and growing revenue stream focused on fueling innovative programs and filling budget gaps.

Prior to Project Renewal, Cathy led fundraising growth at the USO, serving active-duty military; Win, Inc., serving homeless and at-risk families; and The Entertainment Industry Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Hollywood. Cathy brings a strong business discipline and relationship building approach to her nonprofit work, having spent a decade at Saks Fifth Avenue as VP, Business Development and five years at Donna Karan as Director of Retail Programs. She earned her BA in Business from Marymount University.
